Dry Ice Blasting requires a large upfront investment, including a high voltage electrical system, a powerful variable-speed air compressor, a large air storage tank, a refrigerated air dryer, and the ice blasting equipment itself, in our case the Cold Jet Aero 2 PCS60, the best and most versatile machine of its kind in existence.
While Dry Ice Blasting is not inexpensive, compared to the traditional process of taking a car apart and cleaning each component separately, it can be considered a bargain.
Every car is different and the cost may vary, but as a guideline a full undercarriage treatment starts at $1,750, with an additional cost of $375 for the engine compartment. We also offer a follow-up detailing of these areas afterward and can get your entire vehicle prepped for show or auction if so desired.
The following pricing packages will cover most cars, yet since every car is different, there may be
occasions when costs are higher.

Our Basic Undercarriage Package includes preparation work and up to 6 hours of dry ice blasting. When needed, undercarriages will be pressure washed ahead of the process. We do not remove the wheels for this package, but clean everything we can reach and the results are more than sufficient for most cars that are either being driven or are being prepared for sale.
Our DeLuxe Udercarriage Package includes everything our Basic Package covers, and additionally the removal of the wheels for better access to the wheel wells, struts, and brakes, for a more thorough detailing of this challenging area. Deep-cleaning the wheels themselves is also part of this package.
In addition to the package of your choosing, we can protect your car's undercarriage by applying genuine -- either transparent, or slighly caramel-colored -- Cosmoline wax, as used by Mercedes, Porsche, and other European manufacturers.

We mask and prepare the engine compartment, protect labels and factory chalk markings. We use the smallest ice pellets available (0.0118"), at very low pressure and with
low feeding rates, using exclusively precision nozzles to clean every nook and cranny. We follow up with a gentle hand detail where needed.
Note: Highly complex vehicles will be slightly higher in price.
In addition to our Dry Ice Blasting services, we offer follow-up detailing of these areas up to concours level at our shop rate of $95 per hour.
